topsOrtho™ 3.1 Delivers New Features with Mac OS X Leopard
OrthoBanc integration includes Recommendations feature
ATLANTA, Jan. 2, 2008 — The topsOrtho™ 3.1 release delivers new features backed by Leopard, the anticipated upgrade to Apple’s current operating system. topsOrtho is the Mac OS X-based orthodontic practice management system with imaging.

OrthoBanc Recommendations
This release also extends the topsOrtho integration with OrthoBanc, which is an online payment processing system for orthodontic offices. topsOrtho users now have access to the company’s Recommendations service, which provides patient credit risk assessment in seconds.
topsOrtho users have enjoyed access to OrthoBanc’s payment acceptance service, which electronically processes payment acceptance via ACH drafts and credit card payments. The integration results in automatically updated ledgers in topsOrtho and bank deposits for orthodontic offices.

- Receipt serialization, allowing offices worldwide new options for creating and accessing important financial documents. New sortable reports give orthodontic offices valuable data.
- Updated auto-pay plans, which can be modified as needed and verified with topsOrtho’s receipt system.
